Information we collect

We collect your account email address and securely protected login credential, your purchased bundle and access records, and your practice attempts, selected answers, written responses and results. If you contact us, we collect the name, email address and message information you provide.

How we use information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide purchased bundle access, save and display practice results, provide customer support, confirm payments, investigate access issues, and maintain the operation and security of the service.

Anonymous journey analytics

We record privacy-limited journey events to understand how visitors move through the site and where checkout or account flows are abandoned. These events use a pseudonymous session identifier and may include page paths, bundle slugs, device category, browser category, referral path, and event times. We do not record passwords, card details, full email addresses, or the contents of form fields in journey analytics. Completed payment events may be linked to an internal account ID so we can investigate access and checkout issues. You can disable browser storage or use browser privacy controls, although this may make the journey data less complete.

Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Stripe receives payment and transaction information required to process your purchase. School Test Papers receives payment confirmation and purchase identifiers needed to activate access, but does not store your full card details. Stripe's handling of personal information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Disclosure and service providers

We may disclose information where needed to operate the service, including to Stripe for payment processing, hosting and database providers for site and account operation, and email providers for customer support. These providers may process information in Australia or overseas according to their services and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law or to address fraud, security or misuse.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect account and practice information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. We retain information while needed to provide access, support customers, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.

Access and correction

You may ask for access to, or correction of, personal information associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before responding to protect account security.

Privacy questions and complaints

For privacy questions, correction requests or complaints, use the Contact page or email support@schooltestpapers.com.au. We will review your request and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable.

Updates

We may update this policy when our information handling practices or service providers change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
